Project Summary

Burrows Graham was appointed by Readie Construction to provide civil and structural engineering design services for this c. 400,000 sqft warehouse facility at London Gateway Logistics Park. The building was designed to suit the requirements of occupier Made.com with BREEAM Excellent rating.

The project comprised the design and construction of a new warehouse building with associated offices, external yards, car parking and drainage including on-site effluent treatment plant. The foundations and floor slab are supported via precast concrete driven piles with external areas having been subjected to surcharging. The works were completed in summer 2021 after a fast-track construction contract.
