Logicor Park Daventry

Logicor Park Daventry

Project Summary

Burrows Graham were appointed by Logicor to provide civil, structural and highway engineering services for an 800,000 sqft three-unit scheme in Daventry being built to BREEAM Excellent. The development comprised the demolition of an existing 940,000 sqft warehouse along with the removal of the internal and external concrete slabs that were crushed, processed, and re-used within the plots cut and fill to minimise material going off-site.

Ground improvement was required due to the soft and variable nature of the underlying soils. Working with the main contractor, Benniman, rolling dynamic compaction was adopted which offered considerable cost and time savings from alternative more traditional alternatives.

Key Engineering Challenges

  • Fast track programme
