Burrows Graham was appointed by Goodman to provide civil and structural engineering design services for this development on a 22.6-acre brownfield site on the south side of the Thames, working alongside UMC Architects and Readie Construction. The development comprised 3 new speculative units offering footprints of 101,205sqft, 137,365sqft and 238,800sqft.
The units were designed in accordance with Goodman’s framework of sustainability initiatives.
Ground engineering was a particular challenge due to the underlying alluvium and site history, requiring piling and removal of obstructions.
