Burrows Graham has provided geotechnical design input and advice for development of warehouse buildings at Magna Park Corby.

The site lies over a former ironstone quarry and each building plot has been surcharged to comply with the required settlement criteria for the warehouse buildings. Vibro Stone Columns have been used generally to improve bearing capacity for foundations with the use of driven piles for highly loaded foundations and rigid inclusions where floor slabs required strict settlement performance for high-bay automation.
