Project Summary

Burrows Graham was responsible for civil, structural and highway engineering design services for developer Baytree Logistics Properties, for a “last mile” parcel distribution facility constructed in 2021 to a fast-track programme by TSL Projects. The development comprises a portal framed warehouse structure with first floor mezzanine offices, and a separate multistorey van park structure, with overall floor area of 380,000 sq ft.

This is the second of two plots developed by Baytree at this site. Our team also carried out the engineering design for a 267,000 sq ft speculative logistics development which was the world’s first WELL Building Standard pilot industrial scheme and represented an innovation in the design and delivery of logistics buildings. The project won Building Project of the Year at the Business Green Leaders Awards in June 2019.
