Project Summary

The LON1A Data Centre at Dagenham is a 275,000 sqft 40MW building with a 2-storey data halls and a 4-storey office with external N+1 UPS systems, generator backup, diesel and water cooling storage provision with a dedicated onsite substation. The design comprises a piled building with ground slabs on vibro stone column ground improvements and a steel framed superstructure with 18 metre clear span cellular beams. The design was highly coordinated utilising BIM Level 2 modelling to mitigate any potential clashes during construction.

Building 1A base build construction completed in 2020 with phased fit out following.
